Historically homsexuality was pretty much mandatory for all the royal houses: Queen Victoria was reputedly a minge muncher when she wasn't tossing Scottish gamekeeper caber.

Of course while there is nothing wrong with being gay however much society advances that can be no excuse for being royal, it's just unnatural and sick.

Hhmmm... wonder if said Royal will come out of his own closet eventually? :D I wonder why they find the need to hide the (so-called) shame? It's not as if previous Royals haven't been caught with their pants around their ankles, doing naughty things, before, is it?

Anyway, there's always Oprah! ;)

Dear Sylvia

Don't misunderstand me - I've been an addict of your splendid blog for a long while now and was merely meaning that your ranting saves me the bother of venting my own spleen :)

Anyway, with regards the DDOS attack I'll take my lead from the 11/9 conspiricists and suggest that you clearly carried out the attack yourself as a shameless publicity stunt.

Sylvia Berlosconiti will do as good a job as he did before. But your ranting needs work: the last guy I pissed off DOSed the site into a black-hole and called the filth in on me. That's what I called talented ranting. Of course he was an octogenarian nutjob - is that ageist?

Dear GL,
Could this be your last blog entry now that they've asked you go go back and run Italy again? Congratulations and all that, but don't forsake us - this ranting by proxy facility has been most good for my blood pressure.

Having spent some time with Ruthie in late January/early February I was given a rundown on several "characters" such as yourself dearest Charon. I somehow was given the impression that you'd look quite fetching in these http://www.ninewest.com/n/browse/product.s?productId=2939566&source=category&index=2&prodIndex=2&listSize=90&categoryId=2981827&codeName=NWJASLEY

Though maybe Geeklawyer could pull them off, with his hair fluttering in the wind.

Is woodworking a euphemism for a 'stiffy', GL?

I've always found it amusing when the middle classes refer to invitations on white card as 'stiffies'. And then they put their stiffy on the mantle piece for all to see. I do wonder about the sanity of our country sometimes.

Well... off now to read a book in the vain hope that a veneer of civilisation will assist me....

Ever eager for news - I did a Google search. One assumes, that one is allowed to do Google searches even in these credit-crunch times?

Apparently, the trial is set to last for 4-5 weeks.

Probably as plane as day to those of you who spend your days in the criminal courts.

Mary: I had no idea that Charles liked Diana's heels. Good stuff - something we, the people of Rome, can identify with. Not into heels myself - but, if I had a Mrs Charon, I would certainly encourage her to feel free to ask me if I'd like to go to The Bollo in a Darth Vader outfit. Not every night, you understand.... the sight of someone dressed up as Darth Vader, drinking Rioja through a straw and grabbing wine bottles by the neck, might be just a bridge too far for some of the topers at that establishment.
