I was brought up properly. I was always told … “Charon.. when you go to a party… do your best to understand and tolerate the unusual behaviour of others.. fit in… play up… play up… play the game…”

So I did… and now I find myself wondering when GL is going to put a pole on his blawg so we can all do a bit of pole dancing late of an evening….

Please understand.. when I go on to various English religious websites (of all variants - I do not discriminate) as I surely will on Good Friday…. I shall fit in… I have been to B&Q… so should be able to knock up the necessary accessories and comply with ‘dress code’.

Sorry… must go… off to my pontius pilates class…at Esporta…. must keep myself in shape….

Expensive sex….? I have heard that some people have a ‘thing’ about starting litigation simply because they can then go to a truly expensive law firm and endure the possibility of financial ruin… at the hands of people dressed in unusual outfits…

I don’t know. I could be wrong… but I’m sure I had Google “Safe Search is ON’ when I started looking for information about top law firm fees in 2008.

I wouldn’t normally presume to correct you GL, but my understanding is that Paul’s offer was £8m - he proposed that she should exit the marriage with assets of £15.8 million, inclusive of her own assets of £7.8m. (Sorry if I’m being dull.)

Still, your point about expensive sex remains…
