Geeklawyer has dis­cov­ered that there is a win­ner of the 2007 Blawg Review of the Year. The win­ner is Colin Samuels Par­adiso piece — deservedly so.

The mys­te­ri­ous edi­tor of Blawg Review informs that Colin is a Brit by birth, so Geeklawyer will use that admit­tedly pathet­i­cally ten­u­ous link to claim it as a Brit win. Gawd bless Her Majesty.

Eric Turke­witz and Anne Reed made an admirable run but trag­i­cally tripped over their shoelaces within sight of the fin­ish line.

This year’s Brit Blawg Review entries are look­ing strong: CharonQC wrote a mas­ter­piece, Geeklawyer writes it just before the 4th July (that tragic date for Amer­i­can his­tory) and Ruthies­law writes it in May (hope­fully as a joint effort).
