I’m afraid it may lack even the limited production values of Geeklawyer’s normal podcasts. Call it a consequence of the xmas spirit — it was made at 1am in the morning after a drunken Xmas party with Ms Becky Hogge. Available hereunder”

My Dear Geek,
Whlst your podcast is, as ever, spirited ( prolonged bouts of discreet belching notwithstanding), I cannot help but notice that, in the middle of your late night rant concerning the absence of quality blogs within the legal ether, you have neglected to mention an entire THIRD of the legal blogging community, specifically the humble Bar Student. Whilst I do not deny that we are, as a group, widely considered among our fully qualified colleagues as the Golga Frinshams of Blogworld, ignore us at your peril — after all, we may very well turn into you — eventually.……
Indeed, no offence or omission was intended, the student blogs are all very good. Mind you even some of the better student blogs have slacked off — pff, typical students.
The Geeklawyer podcast, what more could anyone want for Christmas?!
I nearly put it out at 3pm — but then it would have clashed with the Queen’s speech and I think that would have put her back up somewhat: she wouldn’t thank me for depriving her of her viewers. I may be a Republican but I have a finely honed sense of self-preservation and there were no children I could have used as shields against her thugs.
Far be it for me to correct one so learned as yourself, Geeklawyer, but the name is Bolch, not ‘Bloch’.
I hope the ‘compliant and willing young lady’ satisfied your needs, and vice versa.
Have a prosperous New Year.
Apologies — but then I was a bit pissed!
