Council jobsworths: “you can’t photograph your kid in the parks”

We all know gangs of paedophiles hang around in kiddies playgrounds getting their thrills photographing fully clothed kids playing - we’ve all seen them. it’ a big problem and, frankly, there is little interest from the police or government.

Well, not in Manchester it seems. Far sighted council officials have decided to tackle this crisis head on. Park wardens are now patrolling the parks forbidding anyone photographing children on the manifestly reasonable grounds that it is probably being done for sexual purposes and so “inappropriate”.

Rumour has it that there may be Internet chat rooms devoted to this perverted pleasure. If such rooms do exist, and don’t be fooled by the complete lack of any evidence for them, no doubt they will be called ‘Playground Pleasure‘ or something else that would look sensational as a tabloid headline.

Sure, there may have been one or two incidents where the innocent are accused but what about the rights of the children? Won’t anyone think of them? And just because it was parents who doing the photographing why should that make them innocent? Does the word ‘incest‘ not ring any bells?

The politically correct may mock Manchester Council but they are to be applauded says Geeklawyer - not mocked as a bunch of imbecilic cretinous jobsworths with nothing better to do and too much ratepayers money to do it with.
