Geeklawyer will be hosting the Blawg Review on June 30th 2008. The Blawg Review is a well regarded balanced and intelligent review of the best of the Blawgosphere (ick).
Geeklawyer is grateful to finally be able to accede to the repeated & interminable groveling of the editor to host it. He intends to repay this consideration in a manner as ungrateful and incendiary as one would expect from such a wretch as himself.
update: The editor of Blawg Review furiously denies being Dan Hull of WAC? fame. He is lying, he is him; and Holden Oliver is also Dan Hull. There is something weird going on. Buggered if Geeklawyer doesn’t mean to get to the bottom of this (if you’ll pardon the anal inferences). He is a little refreshed (to adopt the vernacular of CharonQC): Geeklawyer has consumed the livelier portion of a bottle of Donato from Deglia Antinori (16th century dago viniculturist) and is, inevitably, insensible to a larger extent even than would be regarded as normal for himself. To cap it all it is his Fasting Friday: so, a bottle of strong sweet wine on a profoundly empty stomach; oh dear dear.
I look forward… with anticipaaaaaaation… in the meantime… I am off to do the Time Warp.… just a jump to the left.… as Cyclops and Lord Snotty might say.

Bravo… and, today, England defeated the Australians again at Rugby. I seem to recall the Australian coach saying that they would win by 30 points. Not today…cobber.
I didn’t pull an all-nighter I was merely inept. I watched the rugby 10–12 and cheered heartily: close but satisfying.
I’d like to point out that I was asked before you. But I am also deeply suspicious that both Ed and Holden are Dan Hull, despite his vehement denials.
The dresses that I left in America should be now have reached Dan’s office, but I have heard nothing. Could it be that Dan has taken them to bed with him, or has worn them out?

I agree: while Hull and the Blawg Review editor may not be one and the same (though I suspect as much) I can find no Holden Oliver in the Washington Bar Directory or several other directories I tried (I’m not sure if there is a central register of US lawyers — like our own Solicitors Roll or the Bar Directory). Holden Oliver is either fictional or dubious — though a phone call to Hull McQuire may solve it if he is not a phoney Bahamanian employee (for tax purposes).

I do hope that offering you free drinks will not suffice to ensure inclusion. Speaking personally, I intend to beg Mistress Ruthie to select her favourites and then to allow Tucker to stand erect and dictate my few choices. I am afraid that the likelihood is thus that Ruthie’s Law will be unable to scratch your back (although Tucker is prepared to offer an alternative). I apologise in advance should that prove to be so.
I do not believe that Mr Hull has multiple personality disorder. It would only confuse poor Emu.

As a longtime Ruthie handler let me offer some advice on her management. She despises weakness in men. She pretends she likes it and enjoys dominating; but, schizophrenically, secretly she regards compliant men as un-masculine and beneath contempt. She must treated with brutality cruelty and given arbitrary contradictory dictats. This works, although the ride is rough and a good saddle and whip are needed.
The key to understanding mastering and controlling a Ruthie is to understand her relationship with her father — but be aware that none of the usual cliches apply to such an analysis: on a public blog I can say no more. A PhD thesis is currently being worked on.
As for your own offering I’m sure Tucker’s erection will satisfy if it is sufficiently large and firm whether or not I am included.
hmm, partially true but whilst I do despise weakness in men, I do also expect to be worshipped and adored, so its a complicated formula.
Perhaps the reason I’m not married is that no-one has yet been able to work the formula out!
For the record, don’t be fooled by the dresses, VM is one of the hardest people I know.
