GL I was concerned… because of your minor, inconsequential, and temporary problem with technology in changing your themes… and the very obvious **** ups on the ‘theme front’, that you may not be getting any comments to your ‘urbi et orbi’posts.
I always have a desire to have a glass of wine and a holy wafer when I read your blawg… doesn’t make a me a bad person… but I am racking through those communion wafers which my cousin Cardinal Charoni di Tempranillo left heind the other day. Excellent with a bit of Stilton and DNA enhancing Port….
I don’t get that many comments…. but I do try to be helpful when a fellow blawger manages to **** up his blog.
So.. I thought I would come on, breaking away from a meeting with Gordon Brown, to do so, to show solidarity.
Have you noticed that our new Foreign Secretary… the young guy called David Caliban… or something like that… bears a remarkable resemblance to King Henry VIII in the BBC 2 shag fest series “The Tudors”? You don’t suppose that young Caliband is moonlighting…doing his own blog and a BBC drama series? Perhaps he has yet another over talented brother… who is an actor? It will be interesting to see what he achieves when he finally gets around to doing a bit of Foreign Secretarying.
It must be fun to be Foreign secretary in one’s late thirties. I only managed to be a traffic warden… but C’est la vie.. now I am a part-time Community Service Police Officer… but don’t tell anyone… otherwise everyone will want to be one and I won’t get a chance to apply for the Portuguese Policia Judiciaria…. quite fancy the long lunches and the regular contact with journos from the press.
I only ask… because I was not asked to audition for the part in The Tudors… (they wouldn’;t even give me the part of ‘man who gets knocked off horse in a joust)… almost certainly because I was engaged in other things/ busy/ not suitable/ not an actor…
I am now going to see if Chelsea need a new manager… I would rather enjoy interfering with another noble profession.
I am getting my coat… so no need to have me removed from your blog…
