I went to an all girl catholic school (make of it what you will) and in my final year of schooling there I was deemed senior enough to wear a tie. I, naturally, learnt the windsor knot so that I could have a perfectly symmetrical knot hanging round my neck. I did a windsor knot for my secondary school tie.
