Out-Law.com really is a great site. It is the best for UK IT law news and second only (but a loooong second however) to IPKat for IP news. However one of the things that tickles Geeklawyer is how every time they need a rent-a-quote lawyer they go to Pinsent Masons, for example this;
“[blah] according to IP law expert Catrin Turner of Pinsent Masons, the law firm behind OUT-LAW.COM. “
Of course Pinsent own Out-Law.com so one should not be entirely surprised at this incest but it surely wouldn’t do any harm to inject an air of independence into it. This is particularly true as Out-Law is now manned by proper journos. Imagine if Rupert Murdoch used his papers to push his own interests onto his readers.
