Is the curtain to fall after the opening night?

Oh my, oh my oh my. Ruthie’s new coblogger, MysteryQC - yes a real one not a self-appointed one - stepped onto the stage for the first time yesterday. Full of fear and trepidation he surely was, but also hopeful of a generous and kind spirited audience.

A sad miscalculation. His audience behaved like a bunch of drunken Glaswegian dockers confronted with Quentin Crisp reading his autobiography “Gay sex is best”. Their response was savage brutal and altogether uncalled for. Simon Myerson QC of ‘Pupillage and How to get it‘ laid in with relaxed casual violence, describing it as ‘pathetic sub-Jane Austen’ parody.

Ouch. And this from her fan club too. Geeklawyer feels a little guilty since he initiated it with a perplexed ‘WTF?‘ comment not intending (no really!) it to fuel a beasting. He feels a little contrite. Hopefully Ruthie will not carry through with her threat to reveal herself in pink leathers. A double helping of humiliation should be avoided.

Hopefully MysteryQC will not be put off. That would be a shame as he will certainly do sterling service in future.

GL… I thought Ruthie would laugh…. maybe Simon Myerson was a bit strident.

As before… i continue to enjoy both blogs!

I did laugh, and have no fear, I’m confident that my co-blogger will provide sterling service

I intially read your descrption of Simon Meyerson’s blog as “Pupillage and how to get laid” although I’m sure the two activities are not necessarily mutually exclusive.

Indeed, this has long been an alternative selection process.

In fact if there are any pretty young bits of totty willing to service the exotic needs of Geeklawyer until MsHeiress returns to these shores from the US in the autumn, Geeklawyer will ensure a second 6.

But Lord, how you will have earnt it

Ruthie… quite!

Anyway… look forward to seeing how Gl and Ruthie’s Law develop… I need somewhere to hang out late at night…. Does your co-blogger do a bit of Dickens?

Pupillage and How to Get Laid would be a different blog. Enough said…

I deny violence and stridency. I merely call it how I see it. Still, if it’s a QC he must be good

What’s this - GL being nice to Ruthie? Do you think any of us want to read your soul-searching and - worse - compliments? Pull yourself together, man

Yes I’m sorry this post is unforgivably out of character. I shall return to being a bastard son-of-a-bitch soon. And you shall be my first target.
