And I haven’t decided if I’ll let you come. You are a bit dull at parties.

You do realise that Christmas is 6 months away? In the meantime, why not have barbecue by the beach or something equally pleasant? The suggestion of a beach does, of course, mean the party shouldn’t be in London, which smells in summer.

It’s just that it normally takes 6 months for Geeklawyer to organise anything.

Only when you’re helping, at other times I can do it in a month.

Unfortunately… I tend to be fairly busy delivering presents at that time of year….. try Easter… when… I am not so busy..

But thanks for asking.

Nick Charon / St Nick, I get it now. Can I have a nice card catalogue cabinet? I have been awfully good.

I have helped many a lost barrister find his/her books, I never roll my eyes at incorrect references, and patiently explain the mysteries of the photocopier without being sarcastic. Even on a bad day. Do I get my card catalogue?

Mon dieu… Lo-fi… you really are good. I have absolutely know idea how you manage to put up with barristers having hissy fits… as some of them do…

Fortunately… the barristers I know seem to be relatively sane… and bon viveurs.

I do, however, know one barrister who, when I send him an email, dictates his reply to his PA who then emails me… which, in this day and age, I find rather puzzling….

What sort of card catalogue would you like?… this is a question and should not, in any way, be construed as an admission on my part that I will supply a card catalogue….

Do you come here often? I do. Quite relaxing to hang out… chill… on Geeklawyer’s blog after a few Riojas….

And… I do not seem to be able distinguish between ‘No’ and ‘Know”…. I do like a bit of solecism on a Saturday night. I had a bottle of it earlier….

I shan’t hold you to the gift, I don’t have a chimney anyway.

Bah Humbug  (I also object to having to do sums this early in the morning for spam protection)
