We recently ran a caption competition for the odd logo on the Bar Council website:
The winner is Hoddy for the delightful line:
‘Christ, better hurry: they’re dragging Blair on a hurdle towards Marble Arch - the crowds will be three deep all along Holborn.’
Contact us and a bottle of Whisky will be on it’s way to you before the end of the week. Blimey: lawyers giving away money to the public - whatever next. That Hoddy is a brother biker makes his win a particular pleasure.
The runner up prize of an autographed picture of Ruthie in bikers leathers goes to moon23 for his veritable storm of suggestions of which the best was :
“Yikes in late again, Ruthie will whip me.”
The best line was from sex goddess Becky:
Eegads! Is that the hour? I appear to be slipping through a hole in the fabric of spacetime…
And Geeklawyer was intending to force that one through as the winner but Ruthie threatened to put him on ‘lurve’ rations if he did; I’m sorry Becky
