Work

Apologies to readers who may be missing me: I haven’t been tied up in a cellar by Geeklawyer. (Unless of course he is writing this and attributing it to me, so in fact I may be tied up in a cellar, you’ll never know for sure). No, sadly until I win the lottery or someone gives me lots of money, unlike Geeklawyer, I do occasionally have to do some work. (And plot Geeklawyer’s painful demise).

As an aside, I saw one of those ‘do it yourself’ wills in WH Smith, made by a company called Lawpack (didn’t they used to do hampers?).

It advertised itself as being ‘Barrister Approved’, though when I first read it I thought it said ‘Barrister Proof’!

I don’t think anyone noticed. odd perhaps you are disposable.

And anyway I have a reverse-contract out on you: if I ‘fall under a bus’ or accidentally swallow Polonium then you get whacked

I was hugely amused to see the following Google Ad appear above this post:

“Basis Training: Managing violence and aggression in the workplace.”

I now have a facebook page for anyone who is interested. Do sign up and say hello. Particular thanks to Alex for keeping me sane through a particularly heavy work week last week.
