If you look at mine (whilst logged out) you will see my "public profile". If you were Web 2.0 savvy, then you would have set your account to show such a limited public profile to non-Facebook members.

Smarty pants right back at ya!

Ha! Now, you see? smarty pants. That URL doesn't work! Rather it doesn't work unless you have a Facebook account and that you are logged in. Joe Punter cannot browse into the Facebook network to see it.

One assumes this to be a deliberate design decision on their part, but frankly it is so fucked up and unusable I wonder if they asked Ruthie for advice! You ought to be able to see me and then decide to join, or at least see me from that url.

Why the hell don't Web 2.0 people consult me first?

Facebook URL: http://www.facebook.com/p/Geek-Lawyer/720931860

Then, because that's far too complicated, redirect a sub-domain to it; e.g. http://facebook.martingeorge.org

People will no doubt see that I am far more popular, and rightly so.

So true Charon...normally you have to clean out the client account and run off to Barabados with your mistress to get this much coverage in the Gazette. I've warned Rupert that if they publish any more pictures of me anytime soon people will think I'm screwing the editor. But then Rupert told that the editor has just been sacked. So all that effort was a waste of time then.

No, I amended the article after your comment. Don't bother with the MySpace page: it's traffic bait. I value it so little I have given Ruthie full admin rights.

GL... there is a great pic of you on the new Ministry of Justice website... you want to claim moral rights over this one, mate... and, possibly, international syndication rights... and, if you were in France... claim breach of privacy.

I really am sorry... I really didn't mean to send that pic to Charlie....
