All is look­ing good for the con­fer­ence. Speak­ers are all lined up & mostly con­firmed, the cater­ing is sorted. Only a few minor points remain: will Dan Hull turn up? (Ruthie is wet & dream­ing — but Geeklawyer will defend his prop­erty); will Geeklawyer fin­ish writ­ing his talk? Will Minor Junior try and gate­crash the event? Will CharonQC be let at the Rioja beforehand?

The only real out­stand­ing issue is the curry house to be wrecked after­wards. Geeklawyer & Ruthie will be try­ing out curry houses near Old Street and post them here over the week­end. Some peo­ple have indi­cated an intent to dine or not after­wards. If any­one has not let me know they want to eat can they email now or leave a com­ment? Like­wise, if any­one knows a decent Indian restau­rant in the very imme­di­ate vicin­ity sing out. CPA sug­gest the Curry Leaf nearby but I’m open to other opin­ions. Does our res­i­dent City curry guru have a view, Mr Cor­po­rate Blawg”?
