Chris Tarrant the well known presenter of “Who wants to be a millionaire” was last night arrested following an altercation in a curry house with a fellow diner. Geeklawyer said “I just wanted to put a few questions to him to see if he knew the answers and didn’t just get them from researchers on the show. No, I am never irritating when drunk.”
Chris Tarrant was offered the services of the duty solicitor when he arrived at the station, but instead advised the police that he would prefer to phone a friend.

I stand by what I said: “I am never irritating when drunk” - which is why I am permanently sozzled.
I’m not going to say anything smart about the incident. Other than its a bloody good Indian restaurant and conveniently located very close to our office.
