The Bar Council claim to consult the profession but the only people who get consulted are people who have already been accepted into the club and therefore hold the approved worldview. Ruthie speculates about what you do if you work for The Lawyer but are not a journalist; in-house geek? Polish plumber? Famous British lyricist and playwright? Be aware the event is being sponsored by the Law Society Gazette, and I believe Geeklawyer may have entered into a "Hello!" style exclusive coverage deal with them, but I'll need to check that.
