Geeklawyer thought it appropriate to update readers as to the state of the blog conference. Someone, who’s name he forgot, congratulated Geeklawyer on “keeping it ‘alive’ “. Perhaps because he was wrapped up in the arrangements he let people develop the impression that nothing was happening.
It is. We are currently additional hunting sponsors (besides CPA & Freeth Cartwright) - with limited success it should be said. But we have all the main elements in place apart from CPD points and publicity. The latter should go out next week. CPD, well, it is unclear what will happen but at worst we can get CPD stuff by arrangement with CharonQC (mega- thanks CharonQC)
So, the conference is on - for definite but there are mere organisational details to arrange. See the conference page for current details.
I’m looking for a title for the conference: I thought the banal but
accurate “LawBlog 2007” would do. Can anyone think of a snappier title?
“Bloggers for Justice 2007″?
“Blogger & Blogger 2007″ ?
“Am I Bloggered”?
“Bloggers in need 2007″ ?
“The UK Law Bloggers Symposium and Colloquium, London 2007″ ?
“The BlogFather Part 1″
“Where Bloggers Dare”
“Geeklawyer and the seven bloggers” ?
“The Good, The Bad and The Blogger” ?
OK… I’ll get my coat…
Keep it simple…. “LawBlog 2007″…. sounds OK…. but you did ask… and I just happen to be up…. I must get out more… or stay in less.
What about…. something Shaespearean … “Taming of The Blogger”… or…. even..Jurisprudential…. hinting of HLA Hartley who wrote that book on fly fishing… “Concept of Blogging”?
OK… I am going…. last orders, gentlemen!
What about… “I am the only blogger in the village” ?
Right… I have my passport… I’m leaving the country. I may be gone for some time
LawBlog 2007 sounds good to me!
