ORG Party - even lawyers are welcome

In a blatant and cynical attempt to do a sort of networking/viral/Web 2.0 thingy, kinda, the digital civil liberties group ORG are having a party in London on the 11th April in the Bar Kick @ 127 Shoreditch High St.

It doesn’t take much to get Geeklawyer to drink (though it does to dance) but combining civil liberties and booze is a stroke of genius by the divine ORG dictator Becky. Geeklawyer is supposed to bring a friend but he doesn’t have any - so he thought he’d invite you lot.

ORG do some very worthy stuff in lobbying for the digital public domain. No-one, not even the most pro rights-holder lawyer, can argue that the PD is bad; that’d be like saying motherhood is stupid. But if you are cynical do come along and get an opposing view. And if you are curious or just sympathetic definitely come ORG can do with interested lawyers. Or even non hostile ones.

Register here.

See if you can spot Geeklawyer & Ruthie. Shouldn’t be hard: we’ll be arguing in a corner.
