Bleeding hired help

Strewth. You go on hols, allow your co-blogger free rein. And there is a deafening silence. Ruthie is sulking because she cannot exercise the arbitrary power she so desperately desires. As a result Geeklawyer has to spend a fortune dialling in from the ski resort to keep things moving on the blog.

Thank gawd a punter has been suckered into paying Geeklawyer’s roaming mobile data rates - otherwise it’d cost him a fortune.

As for Ruthie: well, lets just say that at this rate she is going to be on a lurv ration when Geeklawyer gets back :)

Tho’ no doubt she’ll then just crawl off to ‘Tofflawyer’ (’Toff’? isn’t he just a jock?) AKA MinorJunior or a QC or a High Court judge for her rations.

As for Geeklawyer: he simply must get back to the apre ski: so much kraut totty …

I know that you may feel isolated… perhaps a bit anxious about your blog - but… I have just qualified as a ‘Reiki’ therapist…. which makes picking up my glass of Rioja a bit difficult.

I really do want you to know that while you are away - all will be well on your blog. England are fighting back in the rugby. 26-13… as at 6.55 (25 minutes to go)

I hope this gives you some comfort. Meanwhile…. In West London… I continue to protect the interests of the UK blogosphere…

The readership of this blog will surely be wondering if Ruthie’s silence is because Geeklawyer has used his superior technical knowledge to spike Ruthie’s guns in disallowing her posting rights, or whether she, unlike many lawyers, has a life away from work, which she feels entitled to exercise at weekends?

As an Anglo-Irishman at the tender mercies of capricious so-called Sports Channels I was able to watch 21 fabulous points in 6 minutes from the Wops in a prelude to thier first away win in the Six Nations Championship, but I had to go out whilst England debuted at Croker Park.

Worse, today our regular supplier of Foriegn newspapers told us no more papers as “Security” found it too onerous to allow residents to pick them up from the front gate, and do not allow the distributor in to deliver to the door.

So please, was the game good and what was the score?

Singing Accountant…

I watched Italy beat Scotland (my own Country) - the trouble is… Italy is one of my favourite countries. Italy played good rugby! I like the irish and I Like the English…. so who do i support? does it matter to a neutral? (I am never neutral when it comes to cricket - it is always England)

The Irish gave the England rugby team a tremendously warm welcome at Croke Park - history was one everyone’s mind. Why did the press even doubt that the irish would do anything else ? Everyone watching the game knew about the significance of playing at croke Park - and the President of Ireland was impressive.

The irish rugby team then took England apart - by playing fantastic rugby. I am only sorry the Irish lost against the French.

Yesterday Ireland played a game to entertain those, like myself, who enjoy rugby - even though we do not know as much about is as those who dress up in th eshirts, hit the pubs, drink fantastic quantities of beer and then watch the game and applaud good rugby - whoever is playing it!

Disappointing for England - yes - but the Irish were on fire - and they deserved to win.

Here’s an opportunity to stir things up a bit. It’s been a while since Geeklawyer has podcasted.

Mayhaps Ruthie could do a podcast? Maybe Geeklawyer could podcast, between those scant few moments between his skiiing and carousing.
