Thank you CharonQC for those soothing words. I will drink a bottle of Rioja this weekend in a salutation to you. I won't enjoy it since it is not my thing, I prefer Mead, but respect is due.

If you are arrested for conspiring to 'pervert the course of honours' Ruthie & I will represent you pro-bono. Though Ruthie's assistance is likely to be of more assistance than mine. However I like to think that a decent lawyer (& despite my embarrassing ineptness In this instance I am a pretty sharp lawyer) can turn his hand to any branch of the law with a little effort.

Yes.. despite my best endeavours... a few typos.... thank 'gawd' I never had to be a trainee solicitor at a decent law firm... and do all that proof reading and pagination.

Mind you... it may have saved me from haing to apologise for the usual typos... I am sure you will work out that 'nubers' is 'numbers' and not some arcane dining ritual at Gray's.

England expects: these things happen, Geeklawyer... but.... Charon understands..,

i would not worry too much.... I am sure that my words of comfort are of absolutely no value in this particular context (but - save them...and I am sure you may be able to use them in another 'apologia')... but.... at least...let it not be said - that I did not try.

I could write about rugby... cricket. (How did we do so badly in Australia? - Command performance).. tedious celebrity chefs... Anne Widdecombe's recent revival as an icon of 'yoof'...gawd help us... and I am absolutely certain that Shilpa will be meeting with Gordon Turpin soon... to salvage his 'career' as a future British PM.'- but not even these thoughts... or asides... will help you with this 'gaff'.

I am not entirely sure that this 'comment' on your blog will be useful to you - but... I have done my best to stop you being evicted after your latest solecism.

May your 'GAWD'...have mercy upon your soul.

I will be at Sainsbury's in Chiswick - on Saturday - with copies of my latest cookbook - "Charon cooks it off" - if you would like to pop by. I will be at a small stall near the corn fed chickens - under the signage '"Meals for the truly lazy in Chiswick"

Well...of course...that is not true... but... Geeklawyer... if you would like me to meet you by the corn fed chicken...or the 'Fresh Croissant' section, at Sainsbury's in Chiswick - I am sure that I could do my best. (You will have to email me -,as I am not always able to remember whoe blogs I have been on when I post late night)

You may however, be sure, that Charon will be out and about in a Chiswick hostelry on Saturday. (Pleasingly... one Charon ''reader' did arrive at The Bollo recently, identify me - and asked me if I would like to help with Police enquiries into the 'cash for Peerages' scandal.

I declined.... I told him that I would prefer to be 'knocked up' at 5.00 in the morning... (when television crews are much cheaper) and would be happy to shave if he could guarantee that i would be on GMTV in the morning. I was not given this assurance - so... you will not see Charon being arrested in connection ith the 'cash for peerages' issue (or any other connection) on any TV station) when you wake up tomorrow.

I am thinking of going in for Big Brother 8 this summer... what do you think?

It is always a leasure to post on your blog....despite the security nubers system... if you see my post... you will know that I cracked the system.
