There was I thinking Ruthie was a real hardened eccentric biking lawyer, when we find out that given a new employment contract negotiation situation, she fails to negotiate the biggest FO bike she can handle as part of the Gig. So what did you go for; blue, automatic, easy parking (for commonsense) or High Power DropHead in Pink?

there might even be a space for Ruthie on the bench

But almost all judges are barristers; only super brainy solicitors get to be judges in the higher courts. And they've both already been appointed, so you've no chance dear. Anyway, would you flash on the train?

BTW, If your theory were correct you would be a genetically enhanced hyper genius :P

Every time...every time... my eyes are averted for a second libel is published about me... I'm sure Geeklawyer has discovered that this is a very effective means of dragging my focus back to the blog.

This was very funny though. Ruthie has a theory about very clever people who do stupid things which goes like this: at birth we are given the same amount of points, which are distributed either to genius or common sense. Thus, the more points on the genius side the fewer on the common sense. Look at the likes of Einstein, who would forget to wash. How else can you explain intellectual monoliths who pull mad stunts [allegedly] like this? And this is by no means unusual.

Whilst Ruthie would love to think she is an intellectual monolith, she'll settle for having a bit more common sense. (Geeklawyer: don't even dare say that I haven't got any common sense either otherwise I won't let you get in my new company car.)

Still if enough High Court Judges pull mad stunts, there might even be a space for Ruthie on the bench :-)
