Social bookmarks

Geeklawyer, in his never ending quest for publicity, has added social bookmarking to his website. To those not aware of what this is: it is a means of adding an article or site to one of the popular aggregating sites based on relevant ‘tags’. Thus this site might go under the tags: ‘law’, ‘blogs’, lawyer, ‘genius’. Then anyone looking for such topics on sites like digg or del.icio.us will hunt down interesting sites from theses tags and may stumble across the Geeklawyer post of interest.

Geeklawyer has become an obsessive digger because it provides a daily feed of new and interesting tagged articles and websites. Digg bases its front page on the number of times people have submitted the same website/article to it. Geeklawyer would not be averse to being dugg to the top page!!

You may now submit articles here that you find interesting by clicking on the links below the article.

My god, and I thought I was shameless. Be honest, just how many aggregators does a modest member of the bar need to give links to? Dammit, this is just not english and suggests over-compensation.

I am only glad that you haven’t figured out how to have the links show up after each post on the main page.

You are utterly without shame, aren’t you?

What does Lobster Bib Lady make of all of this?

Nick & Mary: I am as you say utterly without shame. A braggard barrister - heavens, whatever next.

I suspect the Bib Lady’s quiescence of late is less due to work and more to the dawning realisation of the insuperability of hijacking this blog. Ha! She does have a case in the Daily Mail today I am told: tho’ I’d be more impressed if it was the Times Law Reports.

I have been horrendously busy over the last couple of weeks. Geeklawyer seems to know instantly when my attention is distracted and expoits the opportunity when my gaze is averted to parade the worst excesses of his character.

Take your revenge dear readers…and only bookmark my articles :-)
Unless you would like to submit some of his under the heading “egomania”

I did have to be resucitated briefy last week when Geeklawyer informed me that he had bought me a present that was the most expensive version of the model he could find. I am therefore expecting a top of the range pencil case…

Ah… I see you’ve pushed the boat out in decorating this site for Christmas. How about some graphical festive adornments scrooge?

Scrooge?! hah! That’s bloody rich coming from someone who sent me a 20p charity Xmas card.
If you fear a cheap pressie then perhaps it is an accurate assessment of your worth :P

Nick? A barrister getting his attributions wrong? surely not.

Braggadicio from the bar is, of course, expected, but, if I may suggest an analogy, this is verging on chubby balding 48 year old in a bright yellow Lotus territory.

By the way, what happens if and when the overworked solicitor gets Dugg before you?

Chubby, balding, 48 year old. A million miles from the truth….mmm.

Well maybe less of the chubby: an astonishing application of self discipline and exercise has meant that Geeklawyer has lost a lot of weight since he has known Ruthie
