Episode 6: Ruthie’s podcast

It had to happen Geeklawyer supposes.
First, Geeklawyer has to apologise: when Ruthie & he did this recording session they were just arsing about with his Apple Mac’s podcasting toys rather than thinking seriously about making a podcast; then Geeklawyer ran out of time so that he could only use what was ‘in the can’ (as we media people, of whom Geeklawyer is now - he says - one, say) & the result was a mess. But frankly it was way easier to release this rather than rearrange a meeting between us to do it properly. Sorry.

Still, it is not every day one hears a female lawyer lose her virginity …

Music: Harry Metcalfe - Night Train.

Poo! You completely dominated that podcast Mr. Geeklawyer. How about we have a Ruthie-only podcast?

Not to say that your voice doesn’t have soothing undertones of quiet arrogance, but it would be nice to hear Ruthie.

Ruthie, bravo! Contrary to Geeklawyer’s attempts at maligning you, you did a superb job.

Dan: I can see you will not be satisfed until I have coerced Ruthie into a skimpy outfit of some sort: either a schoolgirl outfit or a french maid outfit. I will risk a sexual harassment lawsuit & make such a request for some future podcast.

Maryte: I can understand Ruthie’s fan club saying such things but for you to betray me cuts deep and hard. sniff. But, think about it, what earthly interest could a Ruthie only podcast have?

Thanks Mary. I am encouraged to buy a Mac and make the take over complete.

Dan: you are a sick man and need help. Hat???!!!
I like the “sounds slightly like the girl next door” review on your site. Uh, I think thats a compliment. Still I’m delighted to be popular in the states, I’ll have Hollywood agents ringing me up next. I’ll allow Geeklawyer to negotiate my contract as long as he doesn’t take too much of a cut :-)
P.S. For the avoidance of doubt, I am not Geeklwayers “bird”. Well in his dreams maybe.

“the bird next door” - hmm, yes; not far off the mark - that language is suggesting a girl who is accessible, average & unexciting; a dalliance to pass the time while looking for someone more glamorous. And ‘Bird’ suggests the quaint 70’s England of Carry on Camping films. Ruthie as Barbara Windsor.

“Nice voice”: errr, yeeesss. ok…

“Yanks will want more of her”: Sure, I can Fedex bits of her to any location in the US. Rump? Breast?
