I've always taken the view that its easy to be a Socialist if you are very poor or very rich: either way taxation has little meaningful impact on your life. I mentioned early on when I started writing for this blog that it was my intention one day to take over. I seem to have achieved my objective by stealth, judicious flaunting of pink leathers and wanton ingratiation with the regular readership such that the blog can no longer function without me. Geeklawyer amusingly commented today that all revolutions take place when the leader is out of the country.. In truth I feel we have achieved the kind of state described by relationship counselling booklets as "co-dependence". I wouldn't last two seconds trying to manage the techy side of the blog: Geeklawyer would look silly in pink leathers.
