As if Ruthie needed further proof that her life is punctuated by one long series of random surreal and hilarious events, she got a call from a client today who advised her that he had obtained her details from an Ally McBeal website with which Ruthie’s name is linked.
Ruthie is of course now desperate to find the link. Before someone else can find it… :-0
I think you should give serious thought to this as a marketing opportunity: where there’s one punter there are more. Though quite whether you want to pursue a connection with a rather vacuous & empty headed fictional TV wimmins’ lawyer just to make billable hours is another question.
Oh yea, its a stupid question.
Ruthie does on occassion regard it as ironic that she can spend hours creating a beautifully crafted and subtly argued academic legal article which gets read by 3 people and crucially, no clients, yet she somehow gets her name linked with a fictional TV lawyer and business starts rolling in.. Ces’t la Vie. Ruthie ought to know enough about human nature after 10 years of practice not to be surprised.

Ermm, I think its the pink leathers
I fear you may be right. Nothing like good old human nature
And I have now found the link. And no, I’m not going to share it with you.
The office across the road from me got hit by lightning yesterday. I think its time for me to go out and buy a lottery ticket..
