New Scientist says that chimps outperform humans in certain memory tasks such as playing cards.
Well that’s as maybe but it seems that the real lesson is not to play card games with chimps, or if you do check to see if they are card counting.
But while they may stuff us at cards Geeklawyer knows that he’d rather have a chimp opposing him in litigation than Ruthie. And Ruthie is far less likely to throw dung at him through the Bar. But then again a chimp would have more taste than to wear pink motorcycle leathers …
I was out in Yarmouth in my pink motorcyle leathers and matching pink lid today and two people stopped me on the promenade and asked me where I had got them from ‘cos they wanted to buy some. So folks if you fancy making some money: buy pink motorcycle helmets. Mine are Icon, a US import therefore horribly expensive. For some reason British manufacturers don’t make pink gear assuming that women don’t ride bikes or if they do, they must be dykes.
Ruthie did unfortunately fail her motorcycle test last week. She would love to tell readers that she went wild, slipped on the throttle and drove the bike through a wall, but no. She failed for riding too slowly. The shame.
Next test on the 28th June. Ruthie is nothing if not persistent.
