Ruthie is intrigued to read in Pri­vate Eye that Edward de Bono is offer­ing a prize of 1000 pounds for the best let­ter writ­ten before 26th May 2006 in agree­ment with his lat­est pub­li­ca­tion Why so stu­pid? How the human race has never really learned to think. He is offer­ing 500 pounds for the best let­ter writ­ten dis­agree­ing with his views, as, appar­ently “being neg­a­tive is always so much easier.”

Ruthie fever­ently wishes that some­one else would offer a prize of 1500. I won­der if Mr. de Bono had thought about that?
