Mr Blair is an 'Enigma wrapped up in a Control Freak'. As a Prime Minister, yes. he has to have a certain ruthlessness to move policies through Parliament. However, he is also a self-seeking individual who appears to only concerned about his "Legacy" whatever that means. Why, under his watch, have there been so much legislation spewed out by this NU Labour government? Why are they so obsessed with 'micro-managing' every aspect of UK society. And above all, why all the anti-civil liberties law in recent years. The hoary old subject of 'International Terrorism' is just a smoke screen. The last time the UK had such draconian laws was during WW2. Is it because his mate, George Bush and his Cronies enacted laws such as the 'Patriot act', and other laws. So, 'Dear Leader' Tone, in his wisdom, has to follow suite. Many people in the UK, including tradional Labour supporters included, despair of Mr Blair, Mr Brown 'et al'. Quite frankly, the sooner they are kicked out of office at the next General election, the better. Unless elections will be banned next as not being conducive to 21st Century Society. 'Bah! Humbug!... The issue of encrypted data being sent accross the Internet is something that no government can totally control, unless they go down the same road as China with the Internet being tightly controlled. Ever since Mr Blair got into power, and especially since '9/11', Mr Blair and his 'Kabinet of Krusty Klown Joe Stalin Wannabees' has enacted more draconian legislation, Criminal Justice and other measures, all in the name of 'Security' of course, than any previous Conservative or Labour Government has in the previous 40 years. Maybe Mr Blair really, truly wants to hand the UK over 'lock, stock and sleazy old barrel' to the EU when it finally become the 'Peoples Republics of United Europe'. I would not trust Blair or any of his 'Kronies', as they have an appaling track record of 'sleaze, lies, control freakery' and good old fashioned stupidity and incompetence.
