Apple loses

Beatles Apple, that is (Apple Core, Corps).

Apple & Apple signed a deal whereby Apple Computers would stay out of the music business. Apple Core claimed that iTunes breached the deal. Apple Computers said iTunes wasn’t anything more than data transmission that was permitted under the settlement. The judge agreed and said that it was obvious to the consumer what the difference was between Apple Computers & Apple Core: no-one would be confused. Crucially the logo has not been used in relation to the music but to the iTunes services. They hadn’t breached the agreement.

Apple Core has got used to winning whenever it butts heads with Apple Computers but this time it came second.

It must have been a nasty surprise: they must be a bit pipped off. Geeklawyer could always forsee an Apple crumble. Apple core have said that they will be peeling, erm Appealing, the judgement. Sorry, it’s just one bad Apple, pun, after another.

Sadly this claim didn’t bear fruit for Apple.
