Out-law.com is saying that the Business Software Alliance (BSA), masquerading as independent but in fact Microsoft’s secret licensing police, has upped its rewards for people reporting business software infringement to a maximum of £20,000.
Geeklawyer doesn’t have much time for stoolies but he did once grass up a firm that sacked him to the BSA. He only got £750 quid for it but had it been £20,000 he’d probably have totally set them up. After all, what would you do with £20,000? That’d buy Geeklawyer a good few ounces of Columbian talcum powder.
