Dan Hull very kindly includes me in his commentary on Brit legal bloggers ‘with attitude‘. An interesting article, well worth reading for a US lawyer’s perception of the British. Accurate, Geeklawyer thought but with the slightly perplexing comment;
“… He’s got a motorcycle named “Ruthie”, too.”
Perhaps this was humour, or at least the slight American version of it, and perhaps Geeklawyer is a little too dim to understand it. If not he should say, for clarity, that ‘Ruthie‘ is his co-blogger’s name not his motorcycle’s; his motorcycle is called “The Terrible and Inexorable Wrath of God“. He only rides his motorcycle, not Ruthie.
GL: I stand corrected. No slights or slight humor intended. Apologies to Ruthie, Wrath. Dan
I have been called many things in my life. But this is a first.
It’s nice to know that my posts made such a big impression.
Fortunately I have a sense of humour.
Readers may note that I have been somewhat quiet on the posting front lately. This is becuase I have been banned. Geeklawyer claims that there is a software problem and he hasn’t got round to fixing it yet. A likely story. Ruthie thinks he just can’t handle the competition…
Ahhh, Ruthie reveals paranoia and insecurity. How sweeeeet
Just becuase you’re paranoid, doesn’t mean they aren’t out to get you.
So if you’re not bovvered..fix the site geekboy.;-0
[…] Pfff, one can’t even trust the Times to get it right nowadays. The world’s collapsing I tell you. Still, at least no-one’s ever mistaken me for a motorcycle. […]
[…] Here’s the fallout from our Geeklawyer post earlier this week. It features Ruthie and GL’s motorcycle named “The Terrible and Inexorable Wrath of God”. Told you these British bloggers had attitude. […]
