Been busy. Sorry.

It was pointed out that Geeklawyer had been somewhat silent of late. This is true, mea culpa. He is involved in a bit of complex and tiresome litigation which is absorbing all his time. He hates litigation, which is, he admits, a bit weird for a barrister.
Matters are so desperate that yesterday he had to forgo the pub and spend an evening in a state of unaccustomed and vile sobriety. The client will pay for this. Oh yes, how he will pay.

Any fewer posts, and Ruthie was planning a hostile takeover :-)

What Geeklawyer fails to mention is the purchase of a new toy, a motorbike, which I am confident we will hear about at some length in due course. I am concerned for Geeklawyers geeky credentials; first he starts talking to girls, now he is away from his desk looking cool. At this rate the site will need to be re-titled “hiplawyer”.

As for lack of time spent at the pub; riding a bike may kill you quicker, but at least you’ll go out in style. Assuming you manage to stay alive, I think you’ll find riding a bike cheaper and more theraputic than sitting in the pub in the long run.

It occurred to me that Geeklawyer’s practice must be primarily advisory, and therefore he must have blown the dust off his wig for this latest case. Ruthie is, of course, a proper lawyer i.e. full time litigator and trial advocate. Argue with me by all means…as long as you feel confident about arguing against someone who argues for a living….

Ruthie, dear,
Don’t you realise that if you exercise your inferiority complex it’ll just get bigger? ;)

Where can the dish of cream be put out for the victor of the spat?
