The Open Rights Group, a collection of digital rights activists who nearly had a cool acronym but for the letter ‘y’ not starting enough words, are now taking members & money.
Geeklawyer is a member and has offered to assist them, as have several other lawyers, but to paraphrase the Dutchess of Windsor “you can never have too much money or too many lawyers“. So if there are any other lawyers out there with a bent for pro-bono work please get involved even if technology isn’t your bag.
