nerdlaw has this little chuckler about kids forging $20 bills. The kids were 10 & 12 years old and so, of course, they are now in the hands of the filth who will have read them their rights prior to a juvenile judge depriving them of lots of pocket money.
Lawyers will realise that the right way to have done this would have been to excite the interest of a younger sibling, say a 9 year old, in pursuing this hobby (but without actually inciting him) and then get him to buy lunch. He would then have been doli incapax and free from liability.
Mind you he’d have to train the cashier by buying lunch with a few genuine $20’s first but that’s a mere operational detail.
Still, modern kids eh! What’s wrong with conkers on strings?
