If Indian law firms can produce adequate patent work within the UK then times might look lean in years to come. The fear of many that SE Asian economies might not restrict themselves to low-margin manufacturing and enter into value added knowledge services looks set to come.
For the punter this is probably good news: competition will only sharpen price and quality offerings.
