Stunning and barely comprehensible

Geeklawyer’s pledge to bang on less about civil liberties is wobbling in the face of the deranged Tony Blair: I just read Friday’s copy of the Guardian newspaper.

“The Prime Minister said his intention was to put the rights of law-abiding people to live in safety before the need to protect the innocent from wrongful conviction”
Stunning and deeply terrifying. The man is quite quite mad.

I shall probably be arrested under anti-terrorist legislation for saying that. And no I’m not joking: several peaceful protesters, on different occasions and at different places, near the Labour party conference in Brighton were threatened by senior policemen with exactly that if they were seen to wear anti-Blair T-Shirts in public. Really. Of course they weren’t nice sweet cuddly 82 year old men so they didn’t make the news.
